Meet & Greet

  • I will provide a free meet and greet prior to your dogs first walk, this gives me an opportunity for you to meet me and for me to meet you and your dog so we can get to know each other better, this is also helpful for your dog to have met me first before our first time out together.

  • we will discuss information I need for example your dogs needs, likes & Dislikes, how they socialise and any behavioural concerns, any commands/equipment you like me to use.

  • I provide you with a enrolment pack which includes terms & conditions and a enrolment form.

  • You are welcome to have a look at my van to see how your dog will be travelled and I am happy to show you any certificates/DBS certificate.

Travelling

  • Your dog will be travelled safely in my fully kitted van, which has air conditioning and vented, with extra fans for air flow on those hot days.

  • Crated with a separate area for dogs who are not crate trained/big dogs, smaller well behaved dogs can be travelled in the front on a car safe harness and attachment (crash tested and provided).

  • Dogs are always travelled separated unless from the same household then they can go together (this is for safety reasons and for your dogs comfort and wellbeing).

  • Only 4 dogs in the van at any one time (again for safety and comfort of your dog, as overcrowding is a welfare/safety concern)

  • Always keeping travel times to a minimum with careful route planning and pick up and drop off plans.

  • Risk assessed in the event of a Break down or other emergency and action plans put into place to manage this.

  • Van crates are fitted with vet bedding for comfort and hygiene, Travel bowls so water is always available, fans fitted to crates for air flow.

  • Van is regularly cleaned, items laundered and disinfected for infection control, in the event of a dog becoming unwell while in the van a full disinfect will take place before any more travel commences.

  • Van is well maintained, regularly checked over by my husband who is a mechanic.
